Vanguardia welcome new team members

April 2015

Vanguardia welcome two new members to add to the strengths of the expanding environmental team.

Dan Saunders brings with him 10 years of experience in noise and vibration. Having graduated in 2002, Dan worked for several years in Environmental Health before spending 8 years with world-leading acoustic solutions supplier Bruel & Kjaer. Dan also has a wealth of experience in noise management at live events, and has pioneered techniques for real-time remote noise monitoring via network-enabled instrumentation.

Dan has a unique background based in live sound engineering, environmental health, instrumentation and communications. This, together with his experience in noise and vibration monitoring on large construction project and industrial premises, makes him a valuable asset to our team.

Vanguardia has also recruited Ian Fortune, our new equipment co-ordinator. Ian has a background in IT engineering and telecommunications with BT and subsequently moved on to spend a number of years as a service delivery/operations manager for organisations including IBM and AT&T. Ians experience in ensuring service continuity and minimum downtime will be invaluable in his new role, having day-to-day responsibility for management of all acoustic equipment.
