NFL at Wembley National Stadium

30th October 2012

Vanguardia helped Wembley to bring the NFL to London again this year. We provided system alignment for the stadium production sound system prior to the production load-in and worked in collaboration with Britannia Row to provide production sound coverage to the stadium bowl.

Lower tier coverage was provided by a pitch side system brought in by Brit Row which was interfaced with the stadium production system to provide coverage to the upper tier of the stadium. System alignments between the pitch side units and the roof mounted speakers were essential to the success of the event. Pre-match entertainment was provided by American band "Train", the proceeds were opened with a speech from the Mayor of London Boris Johnson and the national anthem was sung by Katherine Jenkins.

84,000 NFL fans enjoyed the match between the St. Louis Rams and the New England Patriots on the 28th October.
