Alex Krasnic to represent the IOA at this year’s STEM fair

Alex Krasnic our senior consultant at Vanguardia will be representing the IOA at this year’s STEM fair aimed for young pupils on the 14th and 15th June 2016 at the Imperial War Museum, Cambridgeshire.

The event hosted by IWM Duxford and organised by STEM team East is expected to attract over 1000 pupils from 33 different schools and host 60 different workshops over the course of the two days.

Ranging from Engineering to Science, Technology and Mathematics the workshops will act as a hands-on activity fair. The practicality and style of learning is expected to create a fun learning environment for the pupils. Alex says, “the use of design based activities using specialist equipment will allow the students to have fun and learn at the same time.”

Alex, a STEM ambassador since 2009 believes, “giving knowledge back to the community is our corporate responsibility as professionals," and says, "if we all sow the seeds for exposure for acoustics we in turn help the community as well as give exposure for ourselves.”
